SCUBA: Up Close and Personal

Some people prefer to watch their marine life by getting right down there where they live.

Though Blue Sky Sportfishing is not a dive operation per se, the Blue Sky is the perfect boat for small scuba groups, carrying up to four divers to sites out of range of the local Cebu-based banca boats. Junmar, our boat boy, has free-dived to over 150ft although he might need a bit of practice now as he's been over-indulging in Jollibee somewhat of late. We carry a range of snorkeling  gear, and, if you do not have your own SCUBA equipment, we can easily make arrangements with local outfitters.

The diversity of dive sites within range is enormous and there is something for everyone from calm, high-visibility reef sites teeming with life for novices, to challenging currents that test the mettle of the more experienced diver. Lets us know what you're after and we'll get you there - and back.

Acutely safety-conscious divers will be pleased to know that there is a hyperbaric chamber in Lapu Lapu, not far from the Club - so no excruciating flights, should you be foolish enough to get a little too up close and personal for a little too long.
